The drip tray has no drain holes, and the 12 cell insert that nests within the drip tray does have drain holes for water regulation, and watering from the bottom. The clear humidity dome fits snugly. With care, these seed starter combos can be reused several times. Disinfect between uses. The drip tray measures 7" x 5.5" x 2.5 inches deep. The 12 cell insert is configured 3x4 and each cell is approximately 1.5" x 1.5 inches at the rim, and tapers slightly to it's 2.25" depth. The humidity dome measures 7" x 5.5" x 2" high.
