These are slightly narrower than the Statesman muck boots I had before, but they fit my wide foot with thick socks. I ordered a size up. My other boots only lasted about two years, so I will have to see how long these last. They come with a lifetime guarantee, though I haven't checked that out yet as it seems TGTBT. (Too good to be true?) These have a thicker sole. They can fold down to show a floral print. They are not a shiny bright red; they are a deeper matte red. So far, so good.These are nice boots for walking the dog in wet grass and simple gardening. The sole is not as hard as I was expecting. And the size seems to run large. I wear a 10 in all of my shoes so I ordered a size 10 in these boots. They are large on me. I needed an insole to help keep my feet in place.I am in love with these boots!! I’ve had them for about a month and quickly put them to work in the worst way by totally re-doing my front flower beds. There was a lot of mud, dirt and debris and every single day, these boots help up. There’s not a single skid on the rubber, the fabric is a little dirty but it washes right off, and the most important thing for me, they are absolutely the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever worn. I’ve started wearing them to cut the grass as well and so much better than the shoes I was previously wearing.I’ve had several foot surgeries and some terrible side effects and scars leftover that can be especially painful when wearing shoes in general. I was afraid these boots would put too much pressure on one of my scars, which is on the inside of the ankle joint close to the heel. There’s many days I’m not able to wear shoes at all much less stand for long periods of time. However, the moment I slipped these boots on, I had full support on the bottom of my feet and enough room in the boots to not have direct pressure on my scar. I was able to work on the flower beds for hours and days without having any pain once I took them off. These are truly a lifesaver!As far as size, I typically wear a size 8 and ordered up to a size 9 as many others suggested. I’m glad I did because with socks on, they’re a perfect fit. I also saw some comments on calf size even with these being shorter boots. I have a 16” calf and the boot leg circumference is perfect when rolled up or down with room to spare. I also really like that the boots can be rolled down for just gardening but rolled up for the messier jobs. Highly recommend.I bought a pair for my daughter and she loves them. They are a 2 in 1 boot where you can wear them high or shorten by folding down. We live on a a property with lots of hills so need something she can wear in a rougher terrain. These seem to work well so far.I love these! The only problem is they make my feet numb when I sit for too long. They ended up being a bit tight over the top of my foot.Love them. I’ve got a hole in the seam near the toe I think was a defect but gonna patch it and go on with life. I’m sure I could return them but they are the best fitting pull on I’ve bought sight unseen.Red was on clearance so I got red. Really cute. Had great ratings on these boots. I haven’t had chance to wear. But like what I’ve seen.Great boots for working in the garden. Easy to put on and take off. They provide the thickness necessary for using a shovel.Not ideal in a downpour of rain as the patterned rubber area absorbs water. But perfect for what I wanted which was to be able to walk through dew laden or rain fed grass and keep my feet dry and myself safe from potential snakes.
