Great! Cut well and hold an edge as well as $50 clippers! I go through several pairs of $40+ clippers a year during "rooting season." I wanted a cheap pair I would let my kids use so I ordered these. I was so surprised. These hold an edge, cut effortlessly and seem to be top quality. I find myself grabbing these instead of $50 pairs all the time. A+ product!The spring fell off after a few months.I was satisfied with this product except for one problem. The spring kept falling out! So far I’ve been lucky to find it. I have to lock it every time I put it down even for a few seconds as I’m pruning. If I let up on the pressure the spring falls out. Maybe it could be glued in somehowThese are the best Ive ever used, however.....Update on March 16....went to use them and see the locking mechanism is breaking. Cant tighten up the screw and since its a bit wobbly I expect it to break completely very soon. Cant return it because the last day I could was March 3. I expected more from this because my old Walmart cheap ones are still working after 6 or 7 years although with very dull blades.One of the very few no name products where a Fakespot search returns an "A," meaning accurate reviews. The quality is evident in the weight, feel, and construction. The blade is removable for sharpening. Cutting roses, camellias, nandina, other common landscape varieties is effortless. They open farther than I'd like, but that's the only complaint. For another 3-4 dollars more than the Depot standard stock, you get hand pruners that will last for years. Strongly recommended.This is the 2nd pair I bought. I really liked the first pair and virtually wore them out cutting and trimming my 1/2 acre yard after a freak 5-day freeze (I live in coastal Texas where it rarely freezes). I still had lots more to do so I ordered a second pair but these are not as sharp and take a lot of effort to use.Good handling when using it, well balanced on weight in hand, sharp as of now of course but regularly watching the blade after every use does not seem to see blade edge chipped, good product for the price.This is the first pruner I've had in a long time that was heavy enough to do the job of pruning, is solid and yet, not heavy but not a lightweight. Easy to lock and easy to open. Great gardening tool.I definitely exceeded the recommended cut diameter, and they still work. Of course, the bigger the diameter, the more you'll have to struggle to cut through the branch. I did an hour of pruning in the springtime and they're still sharp.I thought this one is going be different than my other Shears but its not. It got rusted in 3 days.. I am not sure what kind of material they use but it got rusted right after my use. DO yourself a favor and STAY AWAY guys!Love this! I love pruning my plants to propagate new ones and my old shears broke so I ordered this one and I’m so glad that I did. It’s lighter than my old pair which helps when I’m pruning for a longer period of time and the shears are sharp as I would expect.the locking system is different than normal shears . seems alot easier to work with and less chance of breaking.These are comfortable to use, and they cut very well.
